Kawasaki Velocity Weekend Riding Camp Builds Momentum with Third Session at Beranang Horizon Circuit
SEMENYIH, 2 August 2026 - MODENAS, through Kawasaki Malaysia, continued the 2026 Kawasaki Velocity Weekend Riding Camp with its third session at Beranang Horizon Circuit, Semenyih, building on the momentum established during the programme’s first two rounds.
The third session once again provided Kawasaki owners with structured track-riding exposure in a controlled circuit environment. Through guided instruction and practical riding sessions, the programme was designed to help participants develop greater confidence, improve their motorcycle control and strengthen their understanding of safe riding practices.
Conducted under the Zero2Hero Level 1 programme, the session began with a programme and safety briefing before progressing into coaching on essential riding fundamentals. These included bike control, riding posture, body positioning, vision and riding lines, braking techniques, counter-steering and cornering.
Participants walked the circuit with i-RIDE Academy instructors to familiarise themselves with the track layout, riding lines, braking points and key corners before beginning the practical riding sessions.
Participants were then given opportunities to apply the techniques during practical sessions at Beranang Horizon Circuit. This combination of structured instruction and on-track application enabled riders to better understand how each technique contributes to smoother, safer and more controlled motorcycle handling.
The session was conducted with trainers from i-RIDE Academy, a motorcycle coaching school in Malaysia focused on rider safety, skills development and confidence-building across different experience levels. The academy’s structured coaching approach allowed participants to receive direct guidance and progressively apply what they had learned in a controlled track environment.
The Kawasaki Velocity Weekend Riding Camp forms part of Kawasaki Malaysia’s wider commitment to providing meaningful experiences that extend beyond motorcycle ownership. By combining rider education, community engagement and responsible performance riding, the programme offers Kawasaki owners a practical platform to develop their abilities while building stronger connections with fellow riders.
Kawasaki Malaysia also continues to make structured rider development more accessible to its owner community. Participation in the riding camp is offered at a subsidised fee of RM300 per session, enabling more Kawasaki owners to experience professional coaching without having to bear the full cost typically associated with a one-day riding course.
The third session further strengthened the programme’s role as a community platform. Beyond developing their riding skills, participants were able to engage with fellow Kawasaki owners, experienced trainers and programme partners who share a common interest in safer and more responsible riding.
i-RIDE Academy instructors guided Kawasaki owners through the structured Zero2Hero Level 1 riding programme.
The programme continued to receive support from its key partners. LEXIN Malaysia supported the session as intercom partner, while Michelin Tyres supported the riding camp as tyre partner, contributing to the overall learning and track-riding environment.
As the third round of a planned six-session series in 2026, the latest camp marks an important stage in the programme’s continued development. Each session provides another opportunity for Kawasaki owners to gain proper track exposure, strengthen their riding fundamentals and develop their confidence through structured coaching.
Kawasaki owners who are interested in participating in future sessions are encouraged to follow the official Kawasaki Malaysia Facebook page for programme updates and registration announcements.
The Kawasaki Velocity Weekend Riding Camp reflects the continued commitment of MODENAS and Kawasaki Malaysia to strengthening rider engagement, promoting safer riding habits and building a more connected motorcycle community in Malaysia. Through accessible and professionally guided programmes, Kawasaki Malaysia continues to create meaningful experiences that support rider development and responsible motorcycle ownership nationwide.
